Lava Stone Countertops
Inert to heat, since its genesis was volcanic activity. No other stone offers such thermal protection. Hot pans can be placed upon the surface without causing any issues.
Non-Porous, and will not stain. The Enamel coating on Lava Stone is inert. Similar to enamel coated cast iron Dutch Ovens from Le Creuset. It can withstand all common household cleaners and food acids and requires no maintenance or sealers.
UV inert. It simply will not fade. It is inorganic. Many historic French road signs were made of this material and have been successfully deployed for centuries.
It is a perfect outdoor table or countertop material…especially in lighter colors that reflect vs absorb sunlight.
