Frequently Asked Questions
How do we create textures in thick glass bar tops and glass countertops?
Creating textures for a modern glass bar top can be done in different ways. Our method usually involves my fingers, a knife, a bristle brush, sharp pencil. These techniques add as much depth as desired. We can “kiln carve” repeatedly until the desired depth is achieved. Layering our 1/2″ Low Iron glass will smooth out the top of the textures and adds an element of surprise to the final product.
