Artistic Glass Sink Designs

Recently we added a few new Artistic Glass Sink Designs to our lineup. We dont have a name for it yet, but it is an extremely interesting sink just the same. It couples the best of what Downing Designs offers into one functionally elegant design: Textured Glass, Concrete, LED strip lighting, and Narrow Beam spotlights using the SORAA 4000K bulb (which we love).

The clients and their family were involved in the actual kiln-carving process where their sense of flow and drama were captured beautifully in both of their glass sink designs…each is very distinct in its own His and Hers Master Bath setting.

As you view the photographs, you can see the powerful, and well-defined shadows cast upon the countertop with this ceiling-mounted spotlight. This is a feature of this SORAA LED bulb that makes it particularly popular with museums trying to naturally and dramatically highlight their artwork.

This sink also has an element of “floating” that further adds to the drama.
