In this blog we present a new White Glass Table design configured with a Textured and Thermoformed Glass Whale Tail emanating from what seems like the depths of the ocean. We have illuminated this glass table top design from below with small LED strip lights. The Whale Tail itself is 24″ wide. It is set outdoors to show off the ability of the materials to survive stressful Tampa, FL weather conditions. Previously we discussed our Mermaid Tables using Textured Glass forms cut into White Glass tables for a Clearwater outdoor Cafe Kaia Bowls which produced a spectacular result.
At Downing Designs, our creative desire to mix and match different materials and present them in a functional, yet artistic fashion really keeps us going. As creative tables go, these excel at gently and upwardly illuminating the faces of the people surrounding the table. This takes at least a year or two off of anyone over 40’s facial features 🙂
We can produce these tables for you…just tell us the size desired. Our White Glass slabs are available up to 60″ x 120″ in 1 piece. This makes them easily transportable. We can affix them to your current table base, or we can have our stainless fabricator create any size you desire.
